This project was the conversion of an existing 19th century barn building at Woodstown, Co Waterford. The existing building can be seen in the image below “Stables/barn – Courtyard View” (bottom left). Due to the extent of structural deterioration, the link building, image “Stables/Barn – Courtyard View” was completely rebuild utilizing the reclaimed stone from the original structure. The 4 bedroom property boasts, a stone clad steel framed spiral staircase, a grey water tank which supplies the property with fresh water, solar panels even the pond in the main courtyard is supplied with filtered ground water recovered from behind the retaining walls.
